“Knowt” Internet Platform Implementation to the Profession-oriented Foreign Language Training Course Based on Case-study Method

Abstract
The article describes the experience of using the “Knowt” online platform in the process of implementing a profession-oriented English course based on the case study method. In the context of the ongoing digital transformation of education, the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) has become crucial in any course, including those of foreign language learning. The use of such technologies enhances the effectiveness of the educational process, and also allows you to adapt training to the individual needs and characteristics of students. Analysis of several scientific and methodological publications has shown that ICT have significant advantages, such as the possibility of interactive interaction, access to a variety of educational resources, and the ability to monitor and assess academic achievements in real time. The article provides a detailed description of the functional capabilities of the “Knowt” platform, highlighting its advantages as well as the limitations and potential challenges that may arise when using it in the context of a profession-oriented foreign language course. Based on empirical data obtained during the course implementation, the article concludes that the “Knowt” platform is highly effective in addressing such methodological problems as organizing effective extracurricular work of students, developing their linguistic and subject-specific competencies through the analysis of profession-oriented texts, as well as maintaining high motivation for learning a foreign language. The authors note that the platform contributes to the creation of a more flexible and adaptive educational environment, which is especially important in the context of distance and blended learning.
